# Get ingest job

> Get the status and row counts for an ingest job.

Get an ingest job in your organization by its `job_id`. The response includes its status and, when available, `stats.rows_inserted` and `stats.rows_updated`.

Use the `job_id` returned by [Insert rows](https://docs.allium.so/api/data-upload/insert-rows.md). The API returns `404` if the job does not exist or belongs to another organization.
