# Liquid Staking

> Track Binance liquid staking (wBETH) on BNB Smart Chain

Liquid staking on BSC allows users to stake ETH (Binance-Peg Ethereum) and receive wBETH tokens in return. The wBETH token represents wrapped Beacon Chain staked ETH, allowing users to maintain liquidity while earning staking rewards.

  **Important**: The underlying native token for BSC liquid staking is ETH (Binance-Peg Ethereum), not BNB. wBETH represents staked ETH that has been bridged to BSC.
