# Overview

The perpetuals vertical on Monad contains position activity, liquidations, fees, open interest, collateral movements, and daily protocol metrics for on-chain perpetual futures protocols.

Current coverage includes Perpl (v1). Each row is tagged with `project`, `protocol`, and `version` so you can filter to a specific protocol, and any fields unique to a protocol are available in the `extra_fields` column.

### Trades

`monad.perpetuals.trades` contains one row per position-change event (increase, decrease, or liquidation). Both sides of each match are rows.

### Liquidations

`monad.perpetuals.liquidations` contains perpetual position liquidations, exposed with the same schema as `monad.perpetuals.trades`.

### Fees

`monad.perpetuals.fees` contains one row per fee, categorized as position or liquidation, with the protocol revenue share.

### Markets and open interest

`monad.perpetuals.markets` lists every market with its latest parameters. `monad.perpetuals.open_interest` has daily open interest, funding rate, and mark price per market.

### Collateral and TVL

`monad.perpetuals.user_actions` contains collateral deposits and withdrawals. `monad.perpetuals.metrics_daily` contains end-of-day protocol balances.

### Metrics

`monad.perpetuals.overview` contains daily protocol metrics per protocol: volume, open interest, TVL, fees, revenue, and activity counts.

### Identity columns

Every table carries the following columns:
