# Perpetual Funding Events

> Hourly perpetual funding settlements on Hyperliquid for native and HIP-3 markets.

The `hyperliquid.assets.perpetual_funding_events` view contains one row per perpetual funding settlement for native Hyperliquid perps and HIP-3 perps. Spot markets and HIP-4 prediction markets are not included.

`funding_amount` is denominated in the market's collateral token. Do not treat that column as USD unless the collateral token is a dollar stablecoin at peg. `funding_amount_usd` is the same settlement converted at the collateral token's 5-minute USD price and is null when that price is missing.
