# Overview

Daily chain-level activity and fee metrics, one row per chain per day.

### Table Columns

| Column Name | Description |
| - | - |
| chain | The name of the blockchain. |
| activity\_date | The date for which metrics are being calculated. Only includes completed days. |
| total\_blocks | The total number of blocks produced on the chain for the given day. |
| total\_transactions\_from\_blocks | Total number of transactions over the day, counted from the transaction counts reported on each block. May differ slightly from `total_transactions`, which is counted from the transactions table itself. |
| avg\_block\_size | The average size of blocks in bytes. |
| avg\_block\_time | The average time between blocks. |
| avg\_transactions\_per\_second | The average number of transactions per second, calculated as the average number of transactions per block divided by the average block time (in seconds). |
| hash\_rate | Network hash rate over the day. |
| native\_token\_symbol | The ticker symbol of the chain's native token. |
| native\_token\_name | Full name of the chain's native gas token. |
| native\_token\_price\_median\_usd | The median price of the chain's native token in USD for the given day. |
| project\_token\_symbol | The ticker symbol of the chain's project token, if different from the native token. |
| project\_token\_name | The display name of the chain's project token, if different from the native token. |
| project\_token\_price\_median\_usd | The median price of the chain's project token in USD for the given day. |
| total\_transactions | The total number of transactions, including both successful and failed transactions. |
| success\_transactions | The total number of successful transactions only. |
| failed\_transactions | The total number of failed transactions only. |
| transaction\_fees | The total transaction fees paid (including L1 and L2 fees), expressed in the native token. |
| transaction\_fees\_usd | The total transaction fees paid (including L1 and L2 fees) in USD terms. |
| avg\_transaction\_fee | Average transaction fee over the day, in the native token. |
| avg\_transaction\_fee\_usd | Average transaction fee over the day, in USD. |
